Tuesday riding the rails in Ottawa

Today I was nervous taking the Light Rail (LRT) to the ByWard Market for work in the shop. Being the second day of the week I was expecting it to be busy but there were three people in my car.  The ride was fast but quite a few more stops along the way than I am used to although they were quick.

The say that there will be free WIFI eventually – again if we wait as long for that as we waited for the LRT to get here could be awhile…we waited a little over year from the planned date and it came in way over budget.

I think it might be faster but I worry about the winter in Ottawa…lots of snow and extreme cold some days then the weird melting and freezing in sometimes the same day.

Wednesday made a number of cards for the shop very tourist in mind – fall is in the air buses are starting to bring in tourists for the fall colours and they can be spectacular in the Ottawa area.

It is Wednesday and I took the LRT to work and back today. The cars were much more packed. I do like the ride. I just need to get a good set of headphones so I can listen to books during the commute. Right now listening to

Thursday today on the agenda to to process a few orders for retired stamps on Etsy and setting up for an inquiry about skinny Color By Amber Bracelets so will have to take some photos for the client. I also have to work on ornaments for the shop tourists like to have an ornament for the tree of their travels so I create a number of them year round the ones they like best are the red glitter but will change up the icon this year to something new…have to decide what it will be and will share in the next post.

Life is good, busy but good. Just the way I like it.

As for Bear his fur is growing back and he is pretty happy that the mornings and evenings are cooler. Bear can be very snarly when it comes to regular grooming so as soon as he sees the brush come out he hides. We are working on it though. Being 10 years old and no teeth means his bark is definitely worse than his bite…even though his bark sounds like a seal bark…

Well the day is getting on and need to start working on more items for the shop.

Have a great week
